Sculpting Emotion,
Breathing Life into Form

Art That Resonates with the Soul

Sam Noto’s sculptures evoke a profound sense of movement, energy, and emotion. Through the interplay of raw materials—stone, metal, rawhide, and mixed media—he transforms the ordinary into extraordinary. Every curve, texture, and shadow invites a dialogue between the piece and the viewer, creating an experience that transcends time and space.

ABOUT SAM

Sam Noto believes that materials guide the creative process. His journey began with a childhood curiosity—finding beauty in discarded objects—and evolved into a lifelong pursuit of sculptural excellence. Holding an MFA in sculpture and with decades of exhibitions worldwide, his work is featured in private and public collections, including the American University’s Katzen Arts Center.

His studio and Landsculpture Gardens in Silver Spring, MD, serve as a sanctuary for creation and inspiration.

More than an artist, Sam sees his sculptures as vessels of meaning—each piece, an invitation for personal reflection and connection.
