Garden Sculpture by Sam Noto
Works in Stone and Steel for outdoor display. Often referred to as 'paintings in space' these works are meant to be seen in their natural surroundings. Noto has written, "The approach to sculpture that serves me best is one of sensing and evolving rather than totally preconceiving and executing. My intuitive approach to sculptural form, design and content usually results in a more accurate expressions of my actual intent than any contrived system of order. I work with space, shape and scale, all the while striving to maintain a harmonious relationship among the various parts, until I have achieved form."
